This Monastic Landscape of Paisley Abbey Walk will explore areas of Paisley that were once owned by the Abbey – from the Monastic site of the Abbey to its orchard, deer park and more. We will look at what survives of the monastic complex, what has been lost and what may survive beneath our feet. We will meet at the West Front of the Abbey at 1pm.
This is our last walk of 2021 and we hope to finish with a visit to a local coffee shop to relax, have a warm drink to look forward to Christmas and the New Year.
We now have radio receivers for use during the walk to allow distancing, and to allow the guide to be heard. If you wish to make use of the receivers, you are welcome to bring your own headphones, or you can use our own which will be sanitised between uses.
