Description
Our third talk in the “Discover” Series will look at the early history and development of the Village of Kilbarchan. From the wandering preacher, Barchan to Weaving, dying, and linen thread making Kilbarchan has a long and interesting history. The talk will inlcide archaeological excavations at the former Old (West) Kirk Graveyard and the Weavers Cottage both on Church Street.
The talk will be held at 7pm on the 28th October and costs £7 per person. The venue is in Paisley St George’s Church Session Room, 82 Causeyside Street, Paisley, PA1 1YP. Entry is by the side door from Causeyside Street, There is no entry from Stow Street.
