Description
Christian Shaw is best known as the 11 year old girl involved in the 1697 Bargarran witchhunt, but it is her later life and involvement in the Linen Thread Industry of Renfrewshire and Scotland where we see her legacy. From a young girl beign tormented by witches to conversing with the Privy Council of Scotland on linen thread, Christian can been seen as a young woman well ahead of her time!
