Join us as we look at the Growth of Paisley from the 16th Century to the late 1800’s through maps. This workshop will make use of online and paper maps and will cover many different aspects of Paisley’s history and growth. We will have a look at weaving, thread, engineering and anything else that catches your eye as we look through the maps!
This talk will be held in the Session Room of Paisley St George’s Church on Causeyside Street, Paisley, PA1 1YP on TUESDAY 25th August 2026 between 7 and 9pm. Entry is only from the Porch entrance on Causeyside Street. There is no access from the Hall entrance on Stow Street.

All tickets purchased are non-refundable if you fail to attend the talk. If the Urban Historian has to cancel the talk, a refund or opportunity to attend the rescheduled event, or another event will be offered.
