Description
This tour ofthe Erskine graveyard will explore the history of the site and hear stories of those buried within the historical site. The graveyard contains the remains many notable people from Erskine and surrounding areas, expect stories of witchcraft, thread and war.
The tour of the graveyard will start at 1pm take around 1.5 hours.
The tours are free and are provided by The Urban Historian and supported by Renfrewshire Council through the Culture, Heritage and Events Fund.
For this tour we meet on the driveway of Bishopton Parish Church, Ferry Rd (B185), Bishopton PA7 5PP on Saturday18th July.
